Coquina Sands Vacation Packages

We love staying at Tween Waters on Captiva Island! We have stayed here several times. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the bay from our room! We met friends here and we all had fun over the 4th of July. It is so nice to enjoy the pool, the beach and restaurants at Tween Waters but what we love the most is being able to go boating while we are there. We usually bring our own boat but this time our friends brought their boats. It is nice to be able to enjoy boating and using the boat docks along with all the great amenities that Tween Waters offers!

We have stayed here before. We love how big the rooms are. The pool is always clean. Their is always someone cleaning around the property

Pros: The location can't be beat. Right on a beautiful beach and perfect for us (we wanted to escape the sargassum plaguing South Florida on the east coast). It's a lovely stretch of soft, white sand. Water was clear and warm and the area of the beach was private. Sunsets were unbeatable. Hotel, Restaurant, and Beach staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. We had a Premium Ocean View King room in the Gulf Tower and the balcony was perfect for watching the sunset and fireworks as we stayed over 4th of July weekend. You could see Naples' fireworks in the distance and even Sanibel's! Closer to the hotel, people were setting off their own fireworks on the beach and also on the bayside. The live music at sunset was also very nice. There are also activities at the pool for the kids, so it was very family-friendly and the pool area was beautiful. Pro & Con: The food was all very good, but on the pricey side. Cons: could use some better pillows on the bed. We found them to be uncomfortable. The extra blanket was also very itchy. If you are traveling with little ones or someone planning to sleep on the pull out, I would advise to bring your own blanket. Could also use a better shower head. At least in our room, the shower head settings were odd and didn't have enough water pressure. The last thing was that we also found the beach loungers to be a little uncomfortable.

Great location! Overall, room was clean and there was no carpet (which is a plus for us). Pool is small but very enjoyable!
